These buildings are constructed with locally available or produced masonry (stone, brick, and sun‐dried brick) bonded with mud mortar. Floors are of timber or bamboo overlaid with mud. Roofs are mostly of timber or bamboo covered with tiles, slate, shingles or CGI sheets.
